A dedicated veterinarian with a commitment to animal health, welfare, and protection, Dr. Sedighi joins the Foundation’s growing international ambassador network to help bring greater awareness to the needs of animals, wildlife, and vulnerable species in Iran.
The primary responsibility of each Shaker Global Animal Protection Foundation Ambassador is to identify endangered species and serious animal-protection concerns within their own country; bring those concerns to the attention of the Foundation; and help inform the Foundation of meaningful ways in which endangered animals may be preserved, protected, and saved.
As Ambassador for Iran, Dr. Sedighi will serve as a voice for animal protection by identifying urgent concerns, encouraging responsible welfare practices, documenting needs where appropriate, and helping bring important animal-protection matters to the attention of the Foundation and the international community.

Dr. Sedighi’s appointment reflects the Foundation’s commitment to building a responsible international network of honorary ambassadors who care deeply about animals and the future of endangered species.
The position is honorary and unpaid. It is founded on service, responsibility, compassion, and the belief that protecting animals is part of protecting humanity and the world we share.
Beginning in 2027, Shaker Global Animal Protection Foundation plans to expand its international presence by establishing ambassadors and meaningful working connections across countries and priority regions worldwide.
The Foundation does not operate, control, or manage the day-to-day work of small local nonprofits, independent animal shelters, or local rescue organizations in Cheyenne, Wyoming, the United States, or elsewhere in the world. Its role is international: building awareness, connecting credible information, identifying endangered-species needs, and developing larger preservation-focused cooperation.
At the same time, the Foundation is working toward the establishment and sponsorship of a **Thailand-based Asian headquarters pilot program**—a future regional base intended to support the Foundation’s international development, ambassador network, and endangered-species protection work in Asia.
Through this appointment, Dr. Rozhin Sedighi may also contribute appropriate animal-welfare reports, stories, and awareness articles to Shaker Global News, helping bring important concerns from Iran to a wider global audience.
